However, for the price (almost $700/night), the Maven really needs to step up their game. Our room was fantastic in that it had a huge patio, the bed was very comfy with nice linens, service all around was awesome, and we really enjoyed our evening downtown and coffee on the patio in the morning. We had been wanting to stay at this hotel for quite awhile as we really enjoy this part of town. We stayed at the Maven for a special celebration evening. Coors Field is a great baseball stadium and a must see for anyone visiting Denver. There are homeless people but we never felt unsafe despite the late hour. We walked up and down the 16th street pedestrian mall before and after the game to our downtown hotel. We caught a street vendor outside but there is also a 7-Eleven store on Blake street towards downtown nearby. You can also bring in unopened non-alcoholic drinks which I would highly recommend. Some concession stands offer a kids meal for $5 which is great for families. The seats along the first base line receive quite a bit of evening sun but they also have views of the mountains. We sat in the lower part of the upper deck behind home plate and I thought they were great seats. Even though we were dressed out for the Cardinals we had fun interactions with Rockies fans and everyone seemed happy to be at the ballpark. A fan behind us brought a towel to dry off his seat from an earlier rain shower and he let us use it as well. The game day staff were extremely nice and helped assist us with questions. It is extremely well done and comes off as classic without being gimmicky. This was only my second time here but I really love this ballpark. This was Nolan Arenado’s first game back in Colorado so it was nice to see him receive a well deserved ovation. We came to the game on 7/1 to watch the Rockies play the St. I would definitely return if I ever visit Denver again. I had my camera with me and took some beautiful picturesque landscapes of the city skyline and the stadium. We actually didn't get to do all of the activities because we were on a tight schedule. My recommendation is to make the trip worth it and make sure you leave yourself plenty of time so they can experience everything.

We spent over 3 hours, but you could spend the entire day there. It was also a beautiful day so we spent some time outside in the obstacle course. The bubbles area kept both of them playing for quite some time. My daughter loved the kitchen area where she get to cook.

My son spent a good hour in the tool shop place making his own creation. There were so many activities for both kids, age 8 and 4. We heard a lot of good reviews from friends who live in Denver about the Children's Museum, and it didn't disappoint. We visited Denver during the summer vacation and wanted to have variety of activities for the kids.
